For the fans of Dota 2, the (short) waiting is over, and we are about to head into a new season of competitive events. We are, of course, talking about the Dota Pro Circuit Winter edition, which will be held across numerous regions and once again reunite the best and brightest of all places that champion a strong Dota 2 competitive track record.
As teams prepare to compete, we are surely preparing to place our bets with https://dota2-bets.com/. After all, having a flutter on the bitter rivalry between Secret and Liquid is often a lot of fun to behold, especially when you have a modest wager running on the outcome.
Valve Details Eastern European and Southeast Asia DPC Winter Tour
The good news is that we have a lot of info to go on. Valve has not kept us in the dark, and we are now witnessing two regional DPC events that will definitely bring us a lot of excitement. Southeast Asia is always a place where old rivalries flourish.
Fnatic and TNC Predator have had a rotten run in the TI10 (and Predator actually missed it). Yet, both powerhouses are known for their past Dota 2 victories, and we can expect the 2022 season to be one where the two squads shine. Whether this actually comes to pass will be another matter altogether, but overall, players will be competing for the most DPC points in a bid to qualify for TI11, which is the ultimate goal here.
Eastern Europe will be another place where a lot of contenders will be coming from. Natus Vincere, the inaugural winners of The International, will have to play against Team Spirit, the most recent winners of the event. Both will want to make their way to the top, and we can’t blame them for trying, really.
We are confident that with proper determination, both squads will be able to get there. Spirit will have to not get too self-assured, as their heady victory may actually diminish their abilities. Then again, Natus Vincere will have to tread lightly in a region that is already dominated by some of the most accomplished players and teams.
There are more joining them, with AS Monaco Gambit, Team Unique, Team Empire, and others, all looking to bag the cash prizes and make it to TI11. It’s going to be well worth watching all DPC regional tournaments.
