The second season of the Ferrari Esports Series is about to enter its final stages. On December 14, 9PM CET, the 24 drivers who qualified through the A and B Group Series will have the opportunity to go head-to-head in three heated races on the Imola, Barcelona and Mugello circuits, played out in Assetto Corsa and developed by Kunos Simulazioni. Adrenaline and high emotions are promised from the first lap to the last.
The championship Finals will also be an opportunity to see the top drivers who won the A and B Groups facing off for the first time; British Isaac Price, who has previous F1 Esports experience and has taken strong victories this season, and the French Arnaud Lacombe, a season sim-racing driver who has comfortably taken pole position. The rest of the grid features top racing talent including Leonardo D’Alcamo and Monza race winner Kamil Pawlowski, all ready to fight for the victory and for that highly coveted first prize.
Next season, the overall Champion will have the opportunity to join the Ferrari Driver Academy Esports team. This year’s driver line-up included David Tonizza and Brendon Leigh, who is considered to be one of the most successful sim drivers in the F1 Esports Series, and Giovanni De Salvo, winner of the 2020 Edition of the Championship.
The winner of the first ‘Ferrari Mobile Esports Series‘, the tournament dedicated to mobile gaming enthusiasts, was also crowned on Tuesday 7th December.
The live broadcasts for the Grand Final races can be followed on the Official Twitch channel, and will feature expert commentary by Nicki Shields, pit lane reporter for the FIA Formula E Championship, and Paul Jeffrey, Sim Racing expert, journalist, and voice of companies such as Sro Esports and Race Department.
