Available now across EA app, Epic Games Store, Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, this update celebrates creativity, culture, and culinary delights.
New Build/Buy Items Inspired by West African Artisans
The update introduces a stunning selection of home décor items, each influenced by West African craftsmanship. Highlights include:
- Okuta Lamp with Woven Shade: A statement piece for any Sims’ living space.
- Visions of Home Decorative Art: Artworks that bring authentic cultural motifs into your Sims’ homes.
- Additional furniture and decorative items blending traditional designs with modern gameplay.
Create a Sim Gets a Cultural Wardrobe Refresh
Sims can now express themselves with new clothing inspired by West African patterns and colours. New options include:
- Vibrant jumpsuits with bold prints
- Patterned shirts for adults
- Playful printed dresses for Toddlers and Children

The update also introduces authentic culinary experiences. Sims can now cook and enjoy dishes like Jollof Rice accompanied by Chicken Drumsticks and fried plantain, adding a delicious taste of West African cuisine to everyday life.
Community and Cultural Collaboration
This update was developed in partnership with the Pan African Gaming Group (PAGG) and consulted with Simmers connected to West African countries and the Black diaspora in the UK and North America. The team ensured that each item and design choice authentically honours the cultural traditions that inspired the release.

Alongside this exciting content, the update includes fixes for over 150 community-reported issues, reflecting EA’s continued commitment to making The Sims 4 stable, responsive, and enjoyable for players worldwide.
