Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics have released a brand-new free update for www.TombRaider.com, introducing a fresh Challenge Mode alongside new outfits and achievements for players looking to push their skills even further.
The update arrives just in time to help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Tomb Raider franchise, giving both new and returning players another reason to revisit the legendary adventures of Lara Croft.
Alongside the update, the remastered trilogy has also launched on Nintendo Switch 2 and is now available for the first time on mobile devices through iOS and Android.

Challenge Mode Adds New Ways to Play
The biggest addition in the latest update is the brand-new Challenge Mode, designed for players who want to customise their experience and increase the difficulty of Lara’s classic adventures.
This new mode allows players to adjust various gameplay elements including health, enemy damage, bonuses, and other combat parameters. By tweaking these settings, players can create completely new challenges across the trilogy.

Mobile players can try the first level of each game in the collection for free before purchasing the full version.
Meanwhile, players who already own the game on the original Nintendo Switch will soon receive a free upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
The upgraded version improves performance and visual quality, supporting 1440p resolution at 60 FPS when docked and 1080p resolution at up to 120 FPS in handheld mode.
A Classic Trilogy Returns with Modern Enhancements
Tomb Raider I–III Remastered Starring Lara Croft brings together the first three entries in the legendary action-adventure series alongside their original expansion packs.
The collection includes:
- Tomb Raider with the Unfinished Business expansion
- Tomb Raider II with the Golden Mask expansion
- Tomb Raider III with the The Lost Artifact expansion
All three games have been upgraded with improved visuals, enhanced performance, and several quality-of-life improvements such as camera lock-on systems and modern achievement support.
The collection is currently available across all supported platforms for $14.99, which represents a 50% discount from the standard $29.99 price for a limited time.
