Independent game studio OtherSide Entertainment, co-founded by legendary game designers Paul Neurath (Ultima Underworld, Thief) and Warren Spector (System Shock 3, Deus Ex, Epic Mickey), in partnership with publisher 505 Games, today launched the fan-funded dungeon action-RPG Underworld Ascendant. Available now on Steam for PC for £24.99, players who purchase Underworld Ascendant through to Nov. 21, 2018 will receive three in-game bonus items to aid their journey through the Stygian Abyss:
- Vorpa: A companion creature that appears mild-mannered, but will launch itself at nearby enemies who are at extremely low health
- Mana Leech: A companion creature that absorbs Mana throughout the world, “firing” its reserves at the player when Mana is low
- Map of The Stygian Abyss: A digital map of the iconic Stygian Abyss to aid players in their explorations of its fathoms
