Developer Cyber Dream has announced that season 2 of Virtual Battlegrounds is now available for everyone to dive into the world of virtual reality. Virtual Battlegrounds is a VR 24-player battle royale that allows players to compete in an enormous map and see who is the best with the usage of tactical gun-play, and physically controlled locomotion. The new season adds an all-new map area, weapons, a new weather system, an improved lobby system, and more.
The new Warehouse District is the largest area of the map to date and aims to give players new strategies to explore in order to secure the win. While exploring the Warehouse District, players may also find the game’s newest weapon, the pump shotgun. The pump shotgun will spawn at random locations and gives players another way to achieve victory.
Season 2 also introduces a new dynamic weather system and improved environmental effects. Players will get to enjoy new weather effects that will range from foggy mornings to breathtaking sunsets to nighttime matches. Additionally, the newly revamped vegetation shows off Virtual Battleground’s lush environments without any loss of performance.
With the addition of a revamped lobby system, players will be able to find matches quicker and easier and by doing so, will make the competition fierce. As the competition grows, so will the in-game events planned by Cyber Dream. The developers will be looking to challenge players today beginning at 5 pm EST as well as every Friday from 6 pm to 8 pm EST and holding weekly brawl events every Saturday from 1 pm to 3 pm EST for players.
