KINEMOTIK STUDIOS is set to release for OCULUS QUEST its award-winning VR dance game, AUDIO TRIP, published by ANDROMEDA ENTERTAINMENT. The title is selling for $19.99 USD and is available for cross-buy. (AUDIO TRIP made its debut in international arcades in August 2019 and first launched for PC VR in October of that year.)
Get ready to break a sweat when you jump into the headset. You’ll find yourself racking up points on AUDIO TRIP’s new GLOBAL LEADERBOARDS when you navigate glowing gems and rhythmic ribbons while pounding the drums and dodging barrier walls. Psychedelic surroundings set the scene with asteroids and geometric shapes whizzing past. Stick to the beat and you can knock off other players’ high scores.
Designed with the best practices of mindful gaming, AUDIO TRIP was created for players to find joy in the movement of their bodies and fun in the moment, while staying active and excited about dance. The game’s Oculus Quest release is perfectly timed to get users stuck at home moving and shaking with heart-pumping routines, including original choreography of the OFFICIAL QUEST RELEASE SONG, “Golden Pineapple” by producer, Tolan.
“Audio Trip is the closest thing to having a professional choreographer in the room with you; what starts out as touching your [controls] to gems will soon have you realize you are actually dancing to the music,” shares XR-industry content creator and AUDIO TRIP fan, Njna Grimsdottir. “I use dancing as therapy for stress and I’m also transgendered so it allows me to be in the guise of my true self while I’m in the process of transitioning in real life.”

Grab the reins of the game and create your own dance moves with AUDIO TRIP’s CUSTOM CHOREOGRAPHY TOOL, a first-of-its-kind experience allowing passionate players to let their imaginations run wild by designing unique levels for any song they want. This IN-HEADSET native tool offers players the ability to create and edit everything IN-GAME. Anyone can choreograph: just dance and record your moves using the same tool the developers use.
KINEMOTIK STUDIOS and ANDROMEDA ENTERTAINMENT will hold a CHOREOGRAPHY CONTEST featuring ‘Golden Pineapple,’ the official OCULUS QUEST release song. The user contest will begin May 7, 10 am PST (release date on OCULUS QUEST). Players can choreograph their version of ‘Golden Pineapple’ and submit a video by joining the AUDIO TRIP DISCORD CHANNEL to compete of their performance across social media platforms for a chance to win the following cash prizes: 1st Place: $1000 // 2nd Place: $500 // 3rd Place: $250.
