Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks is expanding beyond PC, with publisher Wired Productions and developer Caged Element confirming that the chaotic Ork combat racer is heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
The explosive multiplayer racing game has already been building momentum on PC, and soon console players will be able to join the full-throttle Ork madness. With engines roaring, guns blazing, and pure WAAAGH! energy, the battlefield is about to get a lot louder.
The Full Speed Freeks Experience on Console
When Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks arrives on consoles, players won’t be getting a stripped-down version. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S release will include the complete Speed Freeks experience from day one.
That means every update, mode, vehicle, map, and DLC released for the PC version will already be included.
Console players will also gain access to the full range of weapons, vehicle customisation options, and the WAAAGH! Paths reward system, giving them everything PC players have enjoyed so far.
The result is the biggest and most content-packed version of the game yet.
Cross-Play Across All Platforms
One of the biggest features confirmed for the console launch is full cross-play support.
Players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC will all be able to battle together in the same chaotic multiplayer matches.
This unified player base should help keep matches fast, frantic, and full of destruction regardless of where you play.
Ork Combat Racing at Maximum Speed
Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks blends high-speed racing with brutal vehicle combat inspired by the over-the-top style of the Warhammer universe.
Players take control of wild Ork-built machines including heavily armed buggies and the recently introduced Deffkoptas. Each vehicle is packed with outrageous weaponry designed to cause as much destruction as possible while racing across war-torn battlefields.
The game combines relentless speed, chaotic combat, and classic Orky attitude to create something that feels both like a racer and a multiplayer arena battler.

Alongside the digital console release, Wired Productions has partnered with PM Studios to release a physical retail version of the game for PlayStation 5.
The boxed edition will launch sometime after the digital release later this year, bringing the explosive Ork vehicle combat to store shelves worldwide.
