Nova Esports from China, have been crowned champions of the inaugural PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC), after a thrilling four-day event which saw the 16 best teams in the world compete for esports glory, proving themselves the most dominant PUBG MOBILE team on the planet. With 319 points and a 151 kill count, Nova Esports proved to be a cut above the rest in the finale of PUBG MOBILE Esports 2020, towering ahead of second placed 4 Angry Men and third placed Zeus Esports.
Nova Esports PMGC 2020 Finals victory sees the team take home the mightiest portion of the $2,000,000 USD prize pool, the biggest in PUBG MOBILE esports to date for a single tournament, with plenty to brag about as the first ever PUBG MOBILE Global Championship winners.
Due to the source from Esports Charts, the most prestigious event in PUBG MOBILE esports history also attracted more viewers than any other mobile esports event, attracting over 3.8 million peak concurrent viewers during the final with over 64 million total hours watched throughout the PMGC tournament, as the finals streamed live in the UAE with the support from Dubai Tourism and Dubai Sports Council.
4 Angry Men’s Suk also got to take home personal glory as the one and only PMGC 2020 Finals MVP. Suk showed the world why he’s number one, with a tremendous performance throughout the tournament as they earned second place on the leaderboards.
