This announcement is a world first, as League of Legends has become the first PC game to accept the UK’s leading multi-retailer gift card, the One4all.
One4all Gift Cards can now be redeemed against merchandise or Riot Points (RP) purchases with online game, League of Legends.
League of Legends is a fast-paced, competitive online game pitting two teams of powerful champions against each other. Players compete with a global community of millions across multiple battlefields in one of the world’s most played PC games.
Gamers will be able to use their One4all Gift Card to purchase in-game ‘currency’ known as RP in the game client, as well as merchandise including t-shirts, plush and collectible figures from the Riot Games Merch Store.
David Walsh, Group Retail Director at One4all Gift Cards, said: “We’re so excited to have League of Legends on board as our first ever PC game partner, as they’re one of the worlds most played online games, with an incredibly loyal following of gamers.
Offering fans and players the opportunity to pay for their Riot Points and merchandise will only add to the overall experience and it also means that a One4all Gift Card has just become the best new gift for the gamer in your life.
“League of Legends joins a number of gaming and technology brands which accept the gift card, including Currys, PC World and Carphone Warehouse.”
The One4all Gift Card is the market-leading, multi-retailer gift card, popular for the choice it offers customers. Gift cards are available to buy from Post Offices nationwide or online, and can be loaded with anything from £10 to £400.
It is currently accepted in store and online at more than 55,000 outlets across the UK including M&S, Topshop, Debenhams, Pizza Express, Argos, Currys and John Lewis.
