Hoplon, developers behind the post-apocalyptic car-combat MOBA, Heavy Metal Machines, has announced that it has been awarded ‘Best New Moba’ by the prestigious MMOHuts website.
Tatiana Moreira, Head of Marketing and Publishing, commented:
“2018 has been a milestone year from the team working on Heavy Metal Machines, so we’re thrilled that our hard work has been recognised by a website like MMOHuts. We are aware of our stiff competition out there in the MOBA category, but we know what sets us apart is the passion and dedication of our community. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank them for their support. We can’t wait to show them what’s in store for 2019!
Heavy Metal Machines is a one-of-a-kind 4v4 multiplayer arena combat game where two teams battle it out across three deadly arenas to be the first to score a goal and destroy their opponent’s base. Players can choose from a roster of psychotic post-apocalyptic road warriors each with their own over-the-top personality and driving their own unique death machine. Heavy Metal Machines delivers a distinct style of gameplay with awesome upgrades and customisations to match. Over a dozen vehicles are available, each dealing destruction accompanied by a dynamic, mood setting heavy metal soundtrack.
The game also features the Seasonal Metal Pass, which allows player to unlock seasonal content and thematic skins for all vehicles. Season Two – ‘Into The Abyss’ is currently underway, with Season 3 set to release in February 2019.
