Coffee Stain has announced that Midnight Ghost Hunt, the 4v4 spirit-chasing prop hunt game, is today launching its 11th update with some festive additions for the holiday season!
To celebrate this jolly time of year, the update will see new festive Christmas decorations added to the game, as well as a revamped main menu, changes to gadget slots for Hunters and also a double Ghost shards event for the Christmas period!
Midnight Ghost Hunt is currently 66% off in the Steam Winter Sale until January the 4th, with the same discount on the Epic Games Store until the 10th of January!
- Update 11 includes:
- Hunter gadget changes:
- Hunters will have a second gadget slot and so will be able to equip two gadgets at once instead of just one
- Gadgets will be split into two categories: “Gadget” and “Utility”
- Hunter movement has been slightly reduced to compensate for this power buff
- Revamped main menu:
- The main menu has been updated to be easier to navigate
- This update brings a new feature which allows players to toggle between Hunter or Ghost skins in the main menu
- As a new feature in the main menu, there will be separate emote and victory pose selections for Ghosts and Hunter
- Holiday decorations:
- The main menu, van, and all maps will be adorned with Christmas decoration
- Double Ghost shards event:
- For a limited time, double Ghost shards can be earned!
- Hunter gadget changes:
- Midnight Ghost Hunt is a 4v4 multiplayer prop hunt game where the props fight back. Hunters track down and destroy Ghosts until the clock strikes midnight, when the witching hour begins and the Hunters become the hunted! Midnight Ghost Hunt launched into Steam Early Access in late March last year to universal acclaim, and has progressed since with a series of consistent content updates, as well as a successful launch on the Epic Games Store in June.
