Coffee Stain Publishing and Lavapotion have announced that Songs of Conquest will leave early access in Q1 2024. This comes as part of a newly unveiled roadmap with details of added new content and improvements on their way through 2023 and beyond – including Steam Deck support, achievements, and a brand new upcoming single player campaign!
Songs of Conquest is now set to enter 1.0 at the start of 2024, alongside the long-awaited Barya Campaign. This new single player campaign will induct players into the Barya faction, a mercantile nation with a love for gold and gunpowder. The game’s full release will also see major AI improvements, new skirmish maps, user experience upgrades, Steam trading cards and more.

There’s plenty to look forward to before 1.0, however. This year, players can expect ongoing improvements to the game’s AI, as well as netcode optimisation, expanded capabilities for mods and maps, achievements and gamepad support. In Q4, Songs of Conquest will officially release on Steam Deck, allowing players to take their battles with them on the go for the very first time.
