Psyon Games, the developer of mobile games dedicated to healthcare, is launching ‘FULL ADHD’ in Germany today. FULL ADHD is a groundbreaking ADHD awareness game used to increase visibility and understanding of the often-overlooked struggles of adults living with ADHD.
Why is this important?
According to the The German Institute of Medical Documentation and Information, the prevalence of ADHD among adults in Germany is up to 5%. However, the health insurance data shows a diagnosis frequency in Germany of only 0.2%–0.4%, highlighting the need to raise awareness of the condition.
The German launch follows an immensely successful soft launch in Finland, where the game was downloaded 40,000 times and has subsequently been used by healthcare professionals across Finland. The game blends entertainment with education and was built based on the experience and input of people living with ADHD, as well as an expert psychiatrist and the Finnish ADHD patient association.
