Vertigo Games and developer Jaywalkers Interactive have announced that Arizona Sunshine – The Damned DLC will release on October 3 for an SRP of €4,99 / $4,99. This brand-new story extension to the platinum-selling VR zombie shooter Arizona Sunshine will be the largest mission to date, spreading the zombie apocalypse as it launches onto PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.
Preceding the events of Arizona Sunshine and Dead Man DLC, The Damned DLC will put players VR survival skills to the test as they step into the shoes of a brand new protagonist who has certainly seen better days. Tasked with an all-new and daunting mission to restore power to the military’s nuclear missile systems by reactivating the generators of a massive Arizonan hydroelectric dam, players get to explore a whole new environment with a unique sense of scale, all while facing off against hundreds of undead in an effort to stop the spread of the apocalypse in its tracks.
“The Damned DLC has a unique feel to it because it features a sprawling new level with dizzying heights and terrifying lows… blue skies and dark corridors. Alone, or with another player in co-op, you have to work your way through the bowels of the dam to complete your mission and get to safety. Handguns and rifles are plentiful, which is a good thing, because so are the Freddies.” Says Paul van der Meer, Producer at Vertigo Games.
