Studying BSc Psychology at University of South Wales. Primarily a musician with a love of all things audio technology and audio production gaming is my escape into hopefully beautiful worlds full of wonderful experiences and phenomenal soundtracks. I review with an unbiased ‘try anything once’ mentality and love to find wonderful little indie games or audio technology and will pull any game apart with no discrimination. In general my preferred games are story-driven open world adventures of any kind though I will play anything if I find fun in it. You can contact me at thomas@invisioncommunity.co.uk

Meridian: Squad 22 Preview

Meridian: Squad 22 is very pretty. Think of your favourite 90’s RTS game. Add pretty graphics. That is Meridian: Squad 22. Ok, this is maybe minimalizing the scale of this game down properly. Being built by one person, this is…

Demetrios – The BIG Cynical Adventure Review

Cynical. Adjective. Distrusting or disparaging the motives of others; like or characteristic of a cynic. Demetrios is questionably not cynical. Like in life, you can simply replace the world ‘cynical’ with a derogatory phrase such as ‘being an asshole’ and it would still make sense. Regardless of the assholery/cynicism of the…

Innovation. On Rusty Trails has none. Recently I’ve had to make sure to emphasise that lacking innovation is not a bad thing. Hell, Assassin’s Creed has gone through a huge number of iterations and brought no huge new innovations in.…

Blues and Bullets: Episode 2 Review

I’d not played the first episode of Blues and Bullets. I had to dive around a friend’s house for a few hours and kidnap his PC to give it a whirl. TO be honest, I’m damn glad I did. Blues…

htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary (PC) Review

One has to begin by pondering where this game got its name. htoL#NiQ is not an error in code. In reality the name is Hotaru No Nikki, and this is just strange stylising. That’s sort of the running theme of…

Starcraft II: Nova Covert Ops – Mission Pack 1 Review

Starcraft II released in 2010 and six years on it is still supported. This isn’t a surprising thing for Blizzard, as they patched Warcraft III 14 years later. Nova Covert Ops is the next bite-sized DLC portions to add more…

Professional Farmer 2017 Review

People wonder what it’s like to be a farmer. Being a city born child I was roped into a government programs taking city kids to farms to experience that way of life. Fair to say I did not enjoy it;…

First Look – Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

People who kickstarted the action-RPG Umbra may have been a little surprised when the name changed to Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem. However the game has retained its form; and this early release shows good promise. In its current state Wolcen…

Street Fighter V Review

Street Fighter V is a big deal. In the surrounding area of my university we have a house known as ‘the crucible.’ A room of solid stone where men hone the art of all fighting games; from Smash Bros. to…

Until I Have You Review

From first glance, you would likely not be wrong from where Until I Have You draws its inspiration. This game pays homage to the games such as Hotline Miami and Lost in Harmony, attempting to amalgamate the best of both…
