Studying BSc Psychology at University of South Wales. Primarily a musician with a love of all things audio technology and audio production gaming is my escape into hopefully beautiful worlds full of wonderful experiences and phenomenal soundtracks. I review with an unbiased ‘try anything once’ mentality and love to find wonderful little indie games or audio technology and will pull any game apart with no discrimination. In general my preferred games are story-driven open world adventures of any kind though I will play anything if I find fun in it. You can contact me at thomas@invisioncommunity.co.uk

Warhammer 40000: Space Wolf – Early Access Preview

Another Warhammer game has reached us. Space Wolf is the PC adaption of the iPad game, pushing into the not-so-common area of strategy deck games. I have not actually played a serious deck game since probably Metal Gear Acid. The…

Atelier Firis: Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey Review

The Atelier series has been going for quite a while, from 1997 in fact. The series has focuses on the idea of an Atelier, a private workshop or studio for professional artists. I’ve never really enjoyed many JRPGs, or Japanese…

NieR: Automata Review

NieR: Automata is what every sequel should aim to be. NieR itself, while a compelling story, lacked a degree of polish and was not favoured well. NieR: Automata makes you forgive all that and more. The game never settles for…

theHunter™: Call of the Wild Review

I’m not a good hunter. theHunter attempts to recreate the hunting experience without the need to shoot actual living creatures for sport. I have no actual experience hunting any creature, the closest experience I have is trying to find my…

Stars in Shadow Review

Very few games nail the style of RTS that Civilisation does. This laissez-faire, rather simplified style where spreadsheet data is sacrificed for a simpler visual reaction to your actions and a robust UI. Naturally, Civilisation does this well, and as…

For Honor Closed Multiplayer Beta Preview – Thomas Lashbrook

I feel like I’m in a sort of Groundhog Day. The push of Ubisoft towards massive multiplayer games is one I have had some apprehension about. The Division, while a good rounded game expected far too much time from a…

Yakuza 0 Review

There I sat, browsing my phone in anger at the speed Playstation Network was downloading. I changed from Wi-Fi to a LAN cable making little difference. I modified the connection so it used a different primary and secondary DNS. I…

Her Majesty’s SPIFFING Review

This has been a bad year for some of us. Trump is president, Britain voted to leave the European Union, and a number of great people have passed away. But Her Majesty’s SPIFFING is a glimmer of happiness in a…

Thief: Master Thief Edition Review

This might not be the game for thieving. When it first came out in 2014 Thief did not capture the hearts like the originals did. It homogenised the core gameplay too much, turning a more open world stealth game into…

Ohr: אור Review

When I was younger and far stupider I once made the mistake of taking Salvia, which for the innocent is a hallucinogenic plant native to Mexico, at a house party. Not deliberately mind you, and at the time it was…
