Ballistix has announced the new sponsorships of two up and coming Esports teams, NRG and SF Shock.

NRG is a multi-game Esports team formed in early 2016 and has 11 teams in different Esports titles. They have a strong ownership group consisting of several high profile owners, including:
- Shaquille O’Neal: Former NBA professional player
- Andy Miller: Co-owner of the Sacramento Kings, former CEO Quattro Wireless, former VP Apple
- Mark Mastrov: Co-owner Sacramento Kings, founder 24 hour fitness
- Alex Rodriguez: Former MLB professional player
NRG are also the 2nd best team in North America for Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
SF Shock is a single game Esports team formed in late 2016. The team exclusively participates in ‘Overwatch League’. Team ‘buy-in’ amounts are between $20m-$60m USD to participate in the league.
