Blade & Soul adds a third specialization to the Blade Dancer player class and more in Blade & Soul: Grim Tidings, which is now live. The Way of the Grim Blade is the latest third specialization for player classes, which adds a new set of abilities and combos for players to wield in combat. Blade & Soul: Grim Tidings also adds the House of Idols heroic dungeon, the Ebon Realm hunting zone, new legendary Rings and Gloves, and in time for the holidays, the Season of Giving Event. A detailed list of changes and updates are available in the Blade & Soul: Grim Tidings patch notes.
The nimble Blade Dancer class adds the Way of the Grim Blade, a new specialization that dances with death to generate high burst damage output. The new specialization takes managing effects and skill timing and combines it with summoning a Grimreaver to boost the Blade Dancer’s damage to supernatural amounts.
The Season of Giving event celebrates the holidays. Players can collect Snow Globes by completing Daily Challenges and earn Giving Keys by completing dynamic quests in certain dungeons. Snow Globes can be traded at the Dragon Express for tradeable Frozen Gift Boxes, and Giving Keys are used to open Holiday Gift Boxes containing precious upgrade materials. Since these items are tradeable, players who gift these items will earn rewards based on the amount they send. Full details of the event can be read in this Events Preview post.
