A keen ear will be able to identify some of the voices used throughout the game. The cult leaders are played by Ellen McLain (GlaDOS in Portal) and John Patrick Lowrie (The Sniper in TF2 as well as many other Valve roles). Additional voice-actors featured for the first time in this trailer include Arif Kinchen and Rafeedah Keys. Arif in particular has a long resume of games (he’s one of the lead characters in the Saint’s Row games, along with roles in Mafia III, Dead Rising 3, Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, and many other titles). Rafeedah Keys was one of the lead actors in The Suffering games along with Arif and John Patrick Lowrie, making The Church in the Darkness a bit of a reunion for the cast along with the game’s director/writer Richard Rouse III.
