With the launch of FIFA 20, I thought you might be interested in an analysis which reveals the best possible teams that managers will be able to create on this year’s FIFA, as well as what Leagues to avoid.
Bookmakers bwin has assessed every player on the game to provide a starter pack on how to best build your Ultimate Team and quickly get ahead of those spending their coins on the wrong players. The analysis answers all the head scratching questions, including: every league’s best 11; this year’s strongest Ultimate Team; which league has the most strength in depth to choose from; and this year’s fastest team.
The Ultimate Team:
Ronaldo’s striker role, combined with playing in Serie A, sees him dropped from FUT’s best possible team as Griezmann takes the top spot whilst keeping the FUT’s World XI chemistry at 100. This is the best possible FUT this season:
Premier League:

- Premier League has the most strength in depth on FIFA 19 – With 348 gold players in total, including 124 80+ rated players, England is comfortably home to the most top players
- Premier League boasts the most 85+ wide players across Europe, with Salah, Mane and Sterling top rated – With 5 midfielders rated 85+, the Premier League has more 85+ wide midfields than any other league, followed by La Liga (4)
- Premier League has the most 80+ midfielders across Europe: 60 midfielders are rated 80+, with La Liga just behind, with 54 midfielders rated 80 or over
La Liga:
- Best possible 11: Oblak, Alba, Ramos, Pique, Carvajal, Busquets, Modric, Isco, Hazard, Messi, Griezmann
- La Liga boasts the most elite talent on FIFA 19 – Despite having fewer gold players (179), La Liga has the most 80+ players (128), as well as the most 90+ rated players (5)
- La Liga 90+ stars outnumber the rest of Europe combined – England (3), Italy (1) and France (1) have a combined total of five 90+ players. The Bundesliga have none
- La Liga dominate best Goalkeepers across Europe, with Oblak top rated – La Liga has five Goalkeepers rated 85+, the most in Europe. Premier League sits second with four
- La Liga is home to the majority of Europe’s best central midfielders, with Modric being its top rated – La Liga has 10 central midfielders rated 85+, followed by Premier League which has 8
Serie A:
- Best possible 11: Handanovic, Sandro, Chiellini, Koulibaly, Florenzi, Matuidi, Pjanic, Dybala, Costa, Callejon, Ronaldo
- Serie A breaks 250 gold player mark – Seria A has 257 gold players, with just 91 rare players
- Serie A dominates central defender quality across Europe – The Italian league has seven central defenders with a rating of 85+, Kouilbaly and Chiellini both at ranked highest on 89
- Serie A has the most top strikers across Europe, with Ronaldo topping the bill – No League has more 85+ rated strikers than Serie A (7). The Premier League site just behind on six
Bundesliga:
- Best possible 11: Neuer, Alaba, Hummerls, Sule, Kimmich, Witsel, Thiago, Rues, Coutinho, Gnabry, Lewandowski
- Bundesliga falls short of 250 gold player mark – Bundesliga has 172 gold players, with 75 rare players
- Bundesliga has the fewest elite strikers – Lewandowski is the only striker rated 85+. The German league has 11 strikers rated between 80 – 84
Ligue 1:
- Best possible 11: Lopes, Bernat, Sila, Marquinhos, Meunier, Gueye, Verratti, Draxler, Neymar, Di Maria, Mbappe
- There’re slim pickings outside of PSG in Ligue 1 – Ligue 1 has just 133 gold players, including only 45 rare players
- Neymar has very little competition to impress against – Neymar is the only left midfielder/winger rated 80+ in the entire league, with no full backs rated 85+
Speed Demons:
- The fastest possible team that can be created on FUT is: Masip, Chala, Gwon, Opara, Advincula, Oshima, Taison, Garritano, Sane, Adama, Mbappe
