Guild Esports, the new global esports business, unveils its first highly anticipated apparel collection – PATCH 0.0.1 – featuring graphics by renowned London streetwear designer, Fergus Purcell.
Available now, the limited edition monochrome collection is emblazoned with the Guild logo, exclusively designed by Purcell, most widely known as creator of the iconic identity for skatewear label Palace.
PATCH 0.0.1 features unisex hoodies, t-shirts, a cap, and key keyring, all crafted from sustainable materials. The first 300 orders will be delivered with exclusive drawstring kit bags.
The range reflects Guild’s mission to represent a new level of excellence in competitive gaming, entertainment and culture. The apparel fuses the cultures of street fashion and gaming and raises the bar for what it means to be a part of the booming esports scene.
David Beckham, who co-owns Guild, unveiled the drop to his 65 million followers on Instagram at 13.37 on Thursday November 12th with a video featuring an exclusive track ‘Run This Ting (Guild)’ by the UK’s Prince of Grime, Yizzy.
Beckham comments, “I have followed Fergus’ work for a while now, and I love the Guild logo and graphics he has created for us. At Guild, we’re on a mission to build a culture of excellence in everything we do, so as one of London’s most iconic streetwear designers, Fergus was the perfect fit as our creative partner.”
Launched in June 2020, Guild represents the future of esports. Guild is building its roster of top esports athletes to compete in some of the scene’s most popular titles including FIFA, Rocket League and Valorant. Alongside this, Guild is preparing for the launch of The Guild Academy, UK-based talent pipeline for esports athletes, based on the traditional sports academy model.
