Create a custom humanoid robot specifically designed to live alongside (and subsequently dominate) mankind. To accomplish this, the android has been fitted with the latest in robotic mouth technology. Fool those gullible humans by talking to them in everyday scenarios including job interviews, physical exams, and romantic conversation.
Mouse movements control the bot’s lips while the tongue is manipulated with the keyboard. Forming the correct mouth shapes while flopping the tongue into the right positions produces something vaguely akin to human speech. But fair warning: speaking can be as difficult as it is gross. Miss too many cues and conversational partners become suspicious, especially as the robot’s eyes and ears have a tendency to pop out due to emotional stress.
