Assemble Entertainment and developers littleknightgames have revealed MIRA and the Legend of the Djinns, a new Metroidvania game in Assemble’s catalogue of successful indie titles. A highlight of Steam’s Guerilla Collective and showcased in the Shacknews E6 lineup, MIRA and the Legend of the Djinns showcases the remarkable world the duo journeys through, illustrated through vivid Mediterranean-inspired pixel artwork and a lulling soundtrack. Throughout their travels, they learn of the world Mira once knew and how it was consigned to oblivion. Along with the reveal, the studio has also released a trailer showcasing the title’s mix of beloved retro mechanics expertly merged with gameplay novel to the genre.
