Xbox Game Studios has released the most realistic flying simulation video game to date for the Xbox Series X|S. Microsoft Flight Simulator pushes the boundaries of the Xbox Series X|S and realism further than ever before, with true real-time air traffic, dynamic weather, and more.
It’s no exaggeration to say that the scope of Microsoft Flight Simulator is mind-boggling. The entire world on which we live is ready and waiting to be explored, the game has true-to-life terrain generated using real-time data. The entire planet is just beyond the window of your TV screen, with 37,000 airports, 2 million cities, and billions of buildings.
Even though it isn’t always a virtual photorealistic representation, the level of precision is astounding and it’s worth having a look for yourself. The recreation of airports, towns, landscapes, and other real-world structures range from remarkable to near-perfect scale. The simulation’s total scale is beyond anything I’ve seen in gaming, and it really is a good simulator game.
You have the option to pick any destination in the world and fly freely, for example, I decided to see Las Vegas, Sin City as I wanted to go there in person and I cannot stress to you how unbelievable the detail and precision was, you seen the movies and you look at photography and the lookalikes is insane. If you fly close to the ground, you can see casinos, shops and even the Bellagio Fountain.
I was just surprised with the amount of detail within this game, the fact that you can see casinos just like these is just mind-blowing.
I’m not the only person with a good review, Microsoft Flight Simulator is rated highly by known game critics, Metacritic scored the game at 91%, Eurogamer scored the game 5/5 which is amazing and TheSixithAxis scored the game 9/10, I could go on and on with good ratings because it’s a struggle to find a negative rating for the game.
The game does a good job with new and experienced players, you can fly automatic or manual, there is also a flight difficulty so you’re new to flying games, the game will assist you and help you out until you improve. If you have played different games that involve flying then a higher difficult will suit you more as you need to watch your speed, altitude, throttle etc.
Overall, if you have the newest Xbox One console, I highly recommend this game, at the moment, Microsoft Flight Simulator is free via the Game Pass so don’t miss out on the opportunity to play.
