PUBG MOBILE is celebrating Earth Day with a limited-time in-game event together with its newly launched Karakin map. The Karakin Oasis invites PUBG MOBILE players everywhere to collect exclusive blueprints to build in-game green power facilities. The event is available now and will run in PUBG MOBILE until May 5th. The Karakin Oasis is the latest initiative PUBG MOBILE has spearheaded to raise awareness for environmental causes, following in the footsteps of its #FIGHT4THEPLANET and #FIGHT4THEAMAZON campaigns.
The Karakin Oasis event is designed to raise awareness and mobilize the PUBG MOBILE community to protect the environment. Through completing in-game challenges, players can collect blueprints to build and sustain green power facilities in the Karakin Oasis event page. The overall green power produced by all the facilities before May 5th will then be calculated. Event rewards will include the homeland Parachute, homeland backpack, Pitch Master Helmet and a series of exclusive Earth Day props, as rewards for players’ contribution to the environmental protection mission.
Over the last couple of years, PUBG MOBILE has doubled down on its support of environmental initiatives including a partnership with Global Green, a world-renowned non-profit organization, for both the #FIGHT4THEPLANET and #FIGHT4THEAMAZON campaigns. The #FIGHT4THEAMAZON campaign was launched in 2019 to help enable Global Green plant 150,000 trees in the Amazon Rainforest. The #FIGHT4THEPLANET campaign then followed in 2020 with multi-platinum recording artist and humanitarian Jason Derulo serving as an ambassador, and a special Mad Miramar map update showcasing the importance of preserving the planet.
The Karakin Oasis event took place after the official release of the Karakin Map, which was added to the PUBG MOBILE Version 1.3 update earlier this month, bringing more weapons, vehicles and mechanics to the game. PUBG MOBILE will soon reveal more information about the highly anticipated version 1.4 update alongside content surrounding its groundbreaking Godzilla vs. Kong collaboration.
Stay tuned for more details about upcoming PUBG MOBILE content, including the version 1.4 update and Royale Pass Season 19.
PUBG MOBILE is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play Store.
