Following an epic turnout in London last weekend, ReedPop has officially launched ticket sales for MCM Birmingham Comic Con, the UK’s biggest pop culture event outside of the capital. This year’s celebration of all things geek returns to NEC Birmingham from November 28–30, 2025, and it’s expanding in a major way.
Level Up: EGX Gaming Content Joins the MCM Fun
In a huge win for gamers, MCM Birmingham Comic Con will now feature a full-on gaming convention experience, thanks to the addition of EGX content. For the first time ever, attendees will be able to check out the Rezzed Zone—a haven for indie game fans—and the Leftfield Collection, showcasing creative and unconventional game titles.
So whether you’re looking to discover the next indie hit or just get your hands on exclusive demos, there’s now even more reason to attend.

Plus, children 10 and under get in free, making it one of the most family-friendly events of the season.

Last year’s show drew over 40,000 attendees and featured big-name guests like Luke Evans (The Hobbit), Chris Judge (God of War), and Laurence Rickard (Ghosts). The 2024 introduction of Writer’s Block proved to be a hit with readers and aspiring authors alike, offering everything from indie book stalls to panel talks.
