The 5th edition of the annual industry barometer produced by the SNJV and IDATE Digiworld delivers a representative snapshot of the video game industry in France.
This new edition includes a complete set of infographics on the video game sector’s economic tissue, production, jobs, companies’ economic and financial health and future prospects. This document was officially submitted last month to Mr Masséglia, Member of Parliament and
chairman of the National Assembly Working Group on Video Games, with other MPs and a number of industry representatives in attendance.
Thanks to the annual industry barometer, which is the only large scale report on France’s video game industry, the sector’s observers have access to reliable and updated indicators and data, therefore, they are able to better understand and assess this industry that is as much cultural as
technological.
