Transformers Prime has released its trailer for Season 3 showing fans what to expect from the new series. With the last season ending on a very shocking ending fans of the show are looking forward to the season to finally see if the Autobots will be able to once again stop the Decepticons!

For those who haven’t heard of Transformers Prime, it is a TV show which has been on American channel ‘The Hub’ and British Channel ‘Cartoon Network’ for the past 2 years. Season 1 focused on the Autobots (the good guys) setting up base on Earth and making friends with the humans. Together the humans and the Autobots managed to prevail over the hurdles the Decepticons threw at them. Though to stop an evil threat both Megatron (leader of the Decepticons) and Optimus Prime (leader of the Autobots) had to team up to save Earth. As the battle ended Optimus Prime reverted to his former self, losing all of his memories – and was taken by Megatron as a Decepticon.
Season 2 of the show continued straight where we left off, with Optimus Prime being taken by Megatron. With Prime’s memories lost Megatron is able to convince Prime that he is a Decepticon, at the same time though the Autobots are doing everything they can to get the Matrix of Leadership so that they can bring Prime back. As Prime is helping the Decepticons he starts to find out that in fact Megatron has been deceiving him and thanks to the Autobots he gains all of his memories back. Though as the Season progresses the Decepticons raise their game and as Prime and the Autobots are about to restore their home planet Cybertron to its former glory, Megatron puts Earth on the line. Prime, knowing it is only fair to save Earth, destroys the only way of restoring their home planet. When the Autobots get back to Earth they find out that Megatron has finally found out the location of their base … and is about to launch a full blown attack. Prime splits the team up to go their separate ways just before the base is destroyed. The last shot we see before the credits roll… is Prime’s hand stuck in the rubble – lifeless.
