Now back to the review, Xenta tote the keyboard as waterproof, so that was something I had to check out straight away, there was no super storm around me and I don’t have kids to chuck or spill their food all over my new device, so I did my own version of all that, you can find out the results of that towards the bottom of this review.
The Xenta keyboard is not something for the gamer, that is 100% confirmed just by the overall design and style used to promote the keyboard. A simple, well designed professional marketing box, to entice the non-gamer or someone who has kids/works with kids.
The front of the box shows the keyboard and what you are getting in the box, a simple, yet functional black and white keyboard, which also comes with a Cleaning brush, OH YEAH, there is the main selling point ‘A Brush’.
On the back, some poor fool as spilt his morning coffee all over their keyboard, what a fool, but do not worry; this keyboard is waterproof and washable. Some of the key selling points are on the back,
The Xenta Waterproof Keyboard is designed to withstand spills and splashes from day-to-day home and office use. Simple to clean and quick to dry, this keyboard is hardwearing and durable, which means it’s easy to keep it looking good as new.

The keyboard is rather nice and stylish, when you finally get it out of its packaging, plenty of flex, nice simple design. The keys have a quick response and feel nice under the finger. I do like that Xenta have decided to go with a bright blue back, which I have to say, makes the keyboard stand out a little over other waterproof keyboard on the market, maybe even makes this keyboard less boring.
As it says on the box, it’s a simple plug-and-play device, and that’s simple what is made, plug it in, wait a few second, while windows or Mac installs the keyboard and away you go, no messing around, no software required, it is quick and simple.
I personally did not use the keyboard for too long, as I prefer my Steelseries Keyboard with mechanical keys and of course I am a gamer, this keyboard is simply not suitable for a gamer. I used it actually to write up this review, and it worked just fine.
I would say this keyboard is more suitable for the family, a family with kids, young kids or teens with an attitude (Teens in General) maybe even schools, it’s very hard to break, extremely flexible and the main point, its water proof, or is it?
Lets test this theory out, can this keyboard take a hit with a child with food and then have a family member clean it under water?
Here I go again on my own
Goin’ down the only road I’ve ever known
Like a drifter I was born to walk alone
An’ I’ve made up my mind, I ain’t wasting no more time
Well, that was the video and the song I was singing after I did the video, if you are wondering who the artist was, it was the 80s rock band ‘white snake’ and below is the original video.
OK.. 12 hrs after the keyboard should be dry, but did not work, yes it installed and even the light came on, but did not type anything, maybe this keyboard is not up to scratch when it comes to… TO MUCH WATER.
If you can move past the issue of over watering when cleaning, maybe just use a damp cloth instead, then THE CLEANING BRUSH, OH YEAH, to give it the once over, it may just work after, but as you can guess, we cannot test that theory.
Even though the keyboard did not stand the test with water, its stall a keyboard that works, looks professional, well designed, flexible and does the job perfectly, it reminds me of the standard Mac keyboard you get with any Mac computer, so Mac users will love this keyboard.
My final thoughts are simple, waterproof, our version was NOT, comes with a CLEANING BRUSH, OH YEAH, sweet design, I like it, well did like it, now its broken, it’s set for the return or bin for collection.
This keyboard gets a 2/5 touting a keyboard as waterproof has to be its main selling point, regardless of how I thought about the design and its simple plug-n-play feature, and the Xenta Washable keyboard failed.
