Ice-Pick Lodge, an independent Russian developer renowned for their distinctive and thought provoking games, are proud to announce that the Kickstarter campaign for Pathologic, the reimagining of their 2005 debut game, has smashed through its $250,000 goal with over a week to go.
Publicly backed on social media during the campaign by such development luminaries as Chris Avellone, Creative Director & Co-Owner of Obsidian Entertainment and Brian Fargo, CEO of InXile Entertainment, Pathologic has received overwhelming support across the gaming community and in the process become the most heavily backed independent Russian game on the crowd platform to date.
Currently standing on almost $265,000 and with six days still remaining on the campaign, the next target for Pathologic is to hit its $300,000 stretch goal – ‘The Town Extended’. This additional layer to the mysterious Town will include additional quest lines, locations, hidden areas and NPCs (akin to a Director’s Cut for a film) in order to make this unique location even richer and more immersive, cementing Pathologic in the minds of anyone that plays it.
