Movies4Men has revealed the top 20 deadliest action heroes of all time ahead of its action-packed September line-up which features channel premieres including I Am Wrath, Resident Evil: Afterlife, Black Hawk Down, The Devil’s Own celebrating some of the silver screen’s toughest heroes. Milla Jovovich tops the deadliest action hero list, thanks to her impressive zombie kill rate as Alice in the Resident Evil franchise, followed by Jet Li and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Movies4Men, available on Freeview, Freesat, Virgin Media and Sky, has reviewed more than 350 titles including The Expendables, Aliens, Resident Evil, The Terminator and Die Hard to rate actors by their character kill count, with zombie-slayer Milla Jovovich topping the list.

Milla Jovovich takes the top spot for her deadly performance in the Resident Evil movies series, boasting a kill count of 1,296 as well as a backlog of outrageous stunts and impressive martial arts skills.
Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chow Yun-Fat also rank in the top five with a combined kill count of 3,647, thanks to their appearances in films like The Terminator, The Expendables and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, followed by Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham, racking up more than 700 kills apiece.
The Untouchables’ Kevin Costner, Blade’s Wesley Snipes and Kick-Ass’ Nicholas Cage complete the list with 670, 593 and 571 respectively.
On the opposite end of the scale, the top three actors with the most world-saving films under their belts are Sean Connery with a total of 13 saves, closely followed by Bruce Willis, 10, and Keanu Reeves, nine.
To make the list, actors and actresses must have starred in at least ten movies within the ‘action’, ‘adventure’ or ‘thriller’ genres and received both combat and weapons training.
Airing every night at 9pm throughout the month of September, Movies4Men celebrates some of the industry’s toughest heroes and will include feature films such as Resident Evil: Afterlife, Armoured, War Pigs and Precious Cargo.
