The Irregular Corporation and developer Foxy Voxel have announced that Going Medieval‘s second major update has arrived, enhancing the core gameplay with the addition of factions, trading and a new diplomacy system.
In the Merchants & Diplomacy Update, the world of Going Medieval expands, letting players interact with their neighbours. A new ‘factions’ system unlocks trading with nearby settlements – just form a caravan, fill it with goods, and hit the road! This new system also lays the groundwork for exciting future updates by assigning different types, traits, and allegiances to your AI-controlled rivals. Will you gain new allies, or make lifelong enemies?
Elsewhere in the new update, players can also more freely customize their settlers, altering physical attributes with personality traits, skill levels, and perks. Been wanting to create yourself or your friends in-game? Now you can! In addition, players can now also move completed structures, allowing them to reshape their settlements without destroying their previous work completed.
