Black Desert Online 2021 Roadmap

Pearl Abyss, the developer of the MMORPG Black Desert Online and upcoming action adventure Crimson Desert, will be welcoming all Adventurers to their annual Black Desert Heidel Ball event. On June 19, this all digital event will be live streamed through Black Desert’s official YouTube and Twitch channels from 9:00 AM BST/10:00 CEST and offer a glimpse at the 2021 Black Desert roadmap for PC, console and mobile. It will be broadcast live in nine languages including Korean, English, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai.

This is the third time an online fan event takes place. Due to COVID-19, this year’s event will be fully digital, allowing more Adventurers to participate safely. During Heidel Ball, Pearl Abyss will share news about Black Desert’s upcoming content on all platforms and will provide live feedback to user-submitted questions. Expected content announcements will focus on the roadmap for the second half of this year and will include a new class, amazing new merchandise, more information regarding the upcoming Atoraxxion co-op dungeon and much, much more.

A live quiz show will take place where adventurers can earn special rewards. Another special Heidel Ball event will give players the chance to win an Airpod Pro or iPad Pro 12.9 and through Pearl Abyss’s partnership with Prime Gaming, adventurers can look forward to many rewards like Enchanted Scrolls, 2000 loyalty points, and Enhancement Help Kit through Twitch Drops.

Black Desert Online was recently mentioned as one of the World’s Top 5 Open-World RPGs as part of Newzoo’s Data Deep Dive: Open-World Games report. According to the renowned, global game market research company, open-world games have been among the most popular game genres on console and PC for the past decade. Black Desert Online is the only Korean game to become one of the world’s top 5 open-world RPGs for PC according to Newzoo’s report.
