Crunchyroll Games is announcing today that it will publish “Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle” – an original, turned-based RPG mobile game that allows fans to interact with and use powerful psychic moves alongside their favourite characters from the show.
Available globally on Crunchyroll, “Mob Psycho 100” is a supernatural shonen series that follows the life of a powerful young psychic who tries to keep his powers under control while balancing middle school and the trouble that continues to come his way.
“Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle” will feature the original voice actors and will follow select elements from the first season of the show. In addition, the game will feature full 3D graphics, and will allow players to build a team of their favourite five “Mob Psycho 100” characters. Each character will have a special move set and a corresponding animated cutscene ahead of their special attack. Players will also have the opportunity to explore and battle in classic locations from the “Mob Psycho 100” universe.
The game is planned for launch in Autumn 2019 and will be available in the following locations: the U.S. and its territories, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. Players can pre-register for the game here.
The launch of this new game is a part of Crunchyroll’s broader commitment to building out a full slate of 360-degree experiences to deepen the community’s engagement with their favourite shows. For “Mob Psycho 100,” Crunchyroll offers fans a variety of touchpoints to interact with the series. While the show was streaming new episodes on Crunchyroll, “Mob Psycho 100” was one of the most popular simulcast series earlier.
