Bandai Namco Europe is back with the third edition of the European TEKKEN Cup, this time happening in the highly anticipated TEKKEN 8. This tournament is set to elevate the local esports scene across Europe, bringing together the best fighters to compete for glory.
TEKKEN 8 – EUROPEAN TEKKEN CUP 3 Announcement Trailer
The competition kicks off this October with the TEKKEN National Championship in the Netherlands and runs through to February 2025. Players from nine different regions will battle it out to climb to the top of their leaderboards. The regions include:
- France
- BENELUX (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg)
- United Kingdom & Ireland
- Italy and Malta
- IBERICA (Spain and Portugal)
- NORDIC (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland)
- DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
- Poland
- Greece
Competitors can earn points by participating in European TEKKEN Cup Major Events, where players from all regions go head-to-head, as well as in DOJO events. The top two players from each region will qualify directly for the European TEKKEN Cup finals. This year, there’s an exciting twist—a Last Chance Qualifier will be held at gamescom LAN, giving latecomers a final shot at entering the competition.
