We’re excited to announce that Rift is coming to retail in Europe and Canada on 20th September!
Rift availability and in-store demos are expanding to new retail partners, including Amazon.co.uk, John Lewis, Curry’s PC World, GAME Digital Plc, and the London department store Harrods in the UK, Amazon.fr, and FNAC in France, and Amazon.de, MediaMarkt, and Saturn Germany. Retail partners in Canada include Best Buy, and Microsoft Store Online.
You can order Rift online from retailers in Europe and Canada starting today, and they’ll start shipping and be available in-store on 20th September. The suggested retail price in Europe is £549/€699.

Every Rift comes with the popular VR platformer Lucky’s Tale, along with hundreds of free 3D 360 videos and VR movies, plus access to the ever-expanding collection of made-for-VR games and experiences on the Oculus Store. The Oculus Store will support purchases in multiple currencies, including British Pound, Euro, CAD, AUD, and JPY.
When you pickup your Rift from a European or Canadian store, you’ll get a localised product with regional pricing and translated packaging, manuals, and software. We’re also supporting developers to help them localise their games and experiences.

We’re rolling out demo experiences across Europe and Canada over the next several weeks. By autumn, you’ll be able to demo Rift in more than 600 retail locations across the US, Canada, and Europe. Demo titles include every thrill-seeker’s favorite: The Climb, the heartwarming VR film: Henry, the exotic planetary experience: Farlands, and the perfect introduction to VR: Oculus Dreamdeck.

We’re also excited to announce that Touch demos are coming to in-store retail experiences globally this October! More details on the Touch launch coming at OC3.
This week at gamescom in Cologne, Germany, we’re showcasing the groundbreaking lineup of Touch titles launching later this year, including Dead & Buried, The Unspoken, Ripcoil and much more. We’re also kicking off a summer bus tour through Germany offering Rift demos throughout the month. Check Oculus Live for scheduling.
