The 2024 PMGO BRAZIL will unfold through a dynamic multi-stage tournament, first starting with open qualifiers from March 4 to 10, welcoming all interested teams. The top 32 teams from the Open Online Qualifier will be invited to attend the Offline Qualifier Finals on location in Brazil, from March 28 to 30. The highest scoring teams will then progress to the PMGO Prelims, where they will meet Partnership Program teams, directly invited, in order to find the eight squads that can progress to the PMGO Main Event. There they will join eight other teams, moving on to the in-person finals in São Paulo, where teams will strive to emerge victorious and earn their place in PMGO history.
Fans are in for a treat with six daily matches during the 2024 PMGO BRAZIL Main Event, featuring intense gameplay across popular maps such as Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. The tournament will not only highlight the tactical skill of the competitors but also the strategic diversity of PUBG MOBILE’s battle royale gameplay. This tournament sets the stage for a year that will see the return of the mid-season global tournament and the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC), along with an expanded partner program across multiple regions.
Brazil has been chosen as the host of 2024 PMGO BRAZIL due to its strong competitive scene and vibrant esports culture, as well as the impressive performance of Brazilian teams in the 2023 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship, such as third-place Alpha7 Esports.
