Spooky Soiree: Ghostly Companions and Haunted Maps
The Version 4.0 Update brings the captivating Spooky Soiree theme to Erangel, Livik, and Rondo. Players can team up with Ghostie, a personal ghost companion visible only to its owner unless a skill is activated. Ghostie can equip one main skill and two passive skills at a time, each upgradeable via pick-up or rare skill items. Abilities include:
- Main Skills: Floating Balloon, Guardian Shield
- Passive Skills: Boost, Ghost Helm, Armourer, Scan, Heal
Eliminated players become Prankster Ghosts, able to influence matches using unique abilities such as Bomb, Scan, and Shield. The update also adds the Magic Broom, a flying vehicle for up to two players, and Haunted Sight for spooky yet precise aiming with interactive animations.
New Haunted Locations and Seasonal Content
Erangel and Livik now feature Wraithmoor Mansion, a sprawling haunted estate full of interactive ghostly elements, magical mirrors, and hidden treasures. Scaredy Ghosts disguise themselves as objects, rewarding supplies when revealed. Players can also experience the Performing Dead stage, a ghostly rock concert offering bonus loot and spectral hints about nearby enemies.
Seasonal updates include the Moonlight Festival Checkpoint (Mid-Autumn Mooncakes) and Day of Gathering Checkpoint (Day of Gathering Chocolate), providing health and energy restoration along with festive ambience.
