3D Realms has announced the second year of Realms Deep, the digital event celebrating all things FPS. The world premieres and special guest appearances begin on Friday 13 August running through Sunday 15 August alongside a Realms Deep Steam Sale, with a bonus special live stream on Twitch on Saturday 14 August at 10:00 AM PDT.
Expect debuts of never-before-seen games and updates on fan-favourites, totalling more than 100+ titles from one-man studios to 3D Realms themselves. Tune in for updates on projects including action-puzzler GRAVEN, dark-fantasy action-adventure WRATH, Ion Furyβs Aftershock expansion, and Ivar Hillβs System Shock-inspired Core Decay.
This year, Realms Deep also includes βThe Vaultβ, filled with talks, interviews, lessons and great discussions with some of the brightest minds in the first-person shooter industry, including John Romero (DOOM, Empire of Sin) and Tim Willits (id Software, Saber Interactive). All proceeds generated by exclusive Realms Deep merchandise sold over the weekend go to Childβs Play.
