SplitmediaLabs Limited, creators of XSplit, the popular livestreaming and recording software, are proud to announce a partnership with Fnatic, the prominent European professional eSports organisation that consists of players from around the world who compete on a top level across a variety of games from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to League of Legends.
Fnatic’s League of Legends team recently competed in the 2015 EU LCS Summer Split and became the first Western LCS team to complete a split undefeated; finishing with a score of 18 wins and 0 losses. The Heroes of the Storm team are the latest addition to the Fnatic family having been formed in January 2015. Both teams will support XSplit with a variety of competitions and social support over the coming months, while using the latest XSplit software to capture content and communicate with fans during training and competitions.
“eSports has seen a massive increase in spectators over the past years, driven to a large extent by passionate and professional gamers streaming their gaming content to the world” says Wouter Sleijffers CEO of Fnatic. “XSplit provides a world-class solution for everyone broadcasting their gameplay to fans and viewers. At Fnatic we’re a very satisfied user of XSplit products, and are pleased to welcome them as a supporter of Fnatic”
Those who follow the team’s progress during this time can look forward to giveaways and more as they dominate the competition. As many of the Fnatic team document their progress they will be harnessing the full power of XSplit’s technology to keep the fans up to date with every match, every nail biting moment and every glorious win as they march on to victory, while also helping their fans to understand how they can use XSplit to have their own voice.
Andreas Hoye, COO of SplitmediaLabs said, “The XSplit team couldn’t be happier to partner their world class live streaming product with a world class eSports team who personify what livestreaming and competitive gaming can accomplish when paired together.”
