Rising World released on Early Access back in December 2014 and has since enjoyed universal acclaim. Each of their updates has significantly added to the game and the 0.6 Alpha update delivers the most significant improvements so far.
So, what’s new in this update?
This update greatly improves the graphics throughout the game, with all trees and plants reworked and nearly all of the other textures throughout the game replaced and updated.
All of the sound effects and the in-game music have benefited from major improvements. These changes create an even denser atmosphere and further increase the immersion factor.
There are even more possibilities now when it comes to farming. For example you can now enjoy a more balanced and healthy diet with the addition of vegetables, including potatoes, salad and broccoli.
You no longer have to search apples in dense grass after cutting down a tree (phew!). Instead, just pick them direct from the tree. Fancy a G& T? Pick a juicy fresh lemon.
Finally, a wide variety of bugs have been fixed throughout the game which will significantly enhance the flow and enjoyment of the game.
“As always, we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Steam community for taking their time and effort to feedback to the developer”, commented Darryl Still, CEO of Kiss Ltd. “With their help the developer is set to realise his ambitions”.
In the near future, fans of Rising World can expect the launch of Biomes and further bug fixes.
