With The New Tomb Raider heading to a cinema near you shortly, and the hype train has already started, It seems Realtech VR are riding that train and remaking Tomb Raiders 1, 2 & 3.
TR1-3 remaster for PC are planned for Steam for free and will requires the purchase of the DOS version being sold on Steam (like ZDoom playing Doom games). Also the PC version will supports OpenVR and features a new 3D engine for both 3 games.

Tomb Raider aka Lara Croft has changes significantly over the year thanks to technological advancements, don’t beleive us check out the video from Then & Now
*The remasters will be available for free to anyone that already owns the DOS versions of the original games on Steam. The DOS version will also be essential to run the game, as the remaster is essentially a mod added on to it.
There is no word on the remasters coming to console and time soon, A trailer to showcase the remasters will be available soon.
