Something a bit different for you today, from the greasy world of motorbike combat racer ‘Steel Rats’. The team behind the title have gone and turned one of the game’s enemies into a real life, ten foot tall, junk robot that also doubles as a demo station to play the actual game.
Made over 90 days in a custom bike workshop in Poland, constructed from over 500 pieces of steel and weighing in at over 1,900 pounds, ‘The Screamer’ is a massive undertaking and in this new trailer for the game we show off a glimpse behind the scenes at how it was created. The robot also houses 5 LCD screens and has been used to demo the game at events like EGX Rezzed, Pixel Heaven and will be at Gamescom this August.
