YOOZOO Games has announced that a new content update is coming to their mobile RPG game Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac that is based on the popular manga series. The March 17thĀ content updateĀ brings a plethora of events, new PvE content and a brand new character.
Artemis, the Goddess of the Moon and Hunt, will be making her way onto the battlefield. Artemis’ arrival heralds theĀ Next DimensionĀ chapter of the Saint Seiya Awakening lore which contains new story chapters and gods that will be joining the fray.
New Character: Artemis
Beginning March 17th, Artemis will be joining the themed summon in Saint Seiya Awakening: KotZ for players to acquire. Artemis is the second character from theĀ Next DimensionĀ saga of the manga series, following in Ophiuchus Odysseus’ footsteps and paving the way for more characters from this story chapter to make their debut in the RPG game.
Artemis is one of the twelve Olympian gods and an older sister to Athena. The sisters disagreed over Athena’s clash with Poseidon and Hades but the Goddess of Moon and Hunt ultimately understood her younger sister’s motivations and allowed the Saints to travel through time and space.
The newest Goddess will be joining the game with two unique skill set trees as she can either support her allies inĀ Brilliance AspectĀ or heal them while damaging her opponents inĀ Hunter Aspect. Players can choose which skill set to pursue before Artemis’ first move in a teamfight.
While inĀ Brilliance Aspect, Artemis can limit her enemies’ extra energy generation and increase her team’s basic attack damage, indicating good synergy with the likes of Milo, Poseidon or Aphrodite. Choosing theĀ Hunter AspectĀ will transform Artemis into a support hunter, causing her arrows to buff teammates’ defenses while damaging her enemies with bursts of true damage.
What stands out in Artemis’ tool kit is theĀ Divine DeprivationĀ skill which causes enemies to reset their progress, including buffs, seals, transformation, rage or skill channel. It is a powerful skill that comes at a high cooldown cost.
New PvP and PvE Modes
The newest content update will also add one new PvPvE and PvE mode to the game. In theĀ Crest of Mt. Goroho playersĀ canĀ explore a new area and challenge different Saints to get rewards, including Skill Empowerment Stones. The themed PvP Melee event is also making a return with a set of new rules. In the newest iteration of the event, players will need to defeat the Nightmare of the Mind to earn special rewards and increase their power.
Additionally, players can complete a series of quests to win an S card of their selection and choose between Papillon Myu, Pandora, Divine Cloth Shiryu, Garuda Aiacos, Lyra Orphee and Gold Hyoga.
