A 22-year-old student based in south wales learning the art of game development at the University of South Wales. I’m one of those Jack of All Trades kind of guys, I do videos, podcasts, reviews, sometimes music, board games and I’ve made my home deep within the nerd cave as I’m also an avid role-player! I tend to play pretty much everything and every new game I play lets me learn a little bit more about how games work and hopefully compile that into my work later in life. I try and be very social on the internet so find me on twitter @GazOfAllTrades where I’ll link my reviews and other stuff I do!

Nioh Review

Some games have been able to define themselves as hallmarks of the industry. Early games like Mega man, mario, sonic and so on were able to mould gaming into what it is today. Recent titles have done this to a…

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Review – Something We need but Told We Never Wanted

Ignoring the current political things that are trying to push onto the game. Wolfenstien 2 is one of those games in which you can sit down, vent your frustration at one of the most standard evil enemies in games and…

Destiny 2 Review

Incentivisation is a really tricky thing to deal with in terms of most games. Developers need to give reasons for players to keep playing their games. Publishers will advertise things that might not be there but most of the time…

Fortnite Preview – Early Access First Look

Zombies and survival have not changed that much considering the concept of an apocalypse leaves the opportunity to get really creative with the idea, but most people just focus on the fact that zombies are a thing and go from…

Master X Master Review

Back in 1930’s, Germany was in debt due to the wall street crash and their leaders at the time decided to just print new money in order to fix the problem. This didn’t work as it caused something called “Hyper-inflation”…

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the shogun Review (PS4)

Strategy is one of those genres that has fluctuated in terms of notoriety throughout gaming history. Age of empires, Command and Conquer, Civilisation and others have been around for decades and some still argue the original versions of these franchises…

Destiny 2 “Beta” Impressions

The past weekend had one highlight for most console gamers. Destiny 2 released the closed/open beta for PS4 and Xbox One owners with PC getting the other end of the stick and having to wait until August but as it…

Tokyo 42 Review

Perspective is an interesting concept. Giving yourself a different viewpoint can really change some things especially when you’re a hired assassin in the future. It’s a bit skewed in that sense but applying that to how you choose your targets…

Planet Nomads First Look

Have you read the Martian? The book about the astronaut that gets stuck on mars and has to survive long enough to be able to go home? This idea of helplessness that becomes an efficient machine that means you can…
