Recently graduating from Staffordshire University with a First-Class Honours in Computer Game Design, I’m a 21 year-old with a passion for game design, writing, and eating cheesecake. I think of myself as being very critical of games and the industry, and I certainly have no issue with speaking my mind and saying things how they are. Essentially, I’m rather cynical – but I try to be funny about it at least. When not spending my time playing video games and writing about them, you’ll find me listening to music, singing loudly, knocking back shots of Sambuca, and dabbling in game development – but fortunately, not all at the same time! P.S. Grim Fandango is my favourite game of all time.

Adventure Time: Explore The Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW! Review

Airing on Cartoon Network and currently ranking as one of the most popular cartoons, it was only a matter of time before videogame tie-ins would surface for the Adventure Time series. Released only last year, ‘Adventure Time: Hey Ice King!…

Tearaway Review

Moving onto a new IP after overwhelming success with LittleBigPlanet, developers Media Molecule obviously had a huge task in front of them. A company known for their extraordinary imagination and creative ability, how on earth were they going to trump…

Proteus Review

It’s hard to describe Proteus merely through words. Being as unique as it is, one will only fully understand it through play and experiencing it for yourself. That said however, I will persist and try my best to shed some…

WWE 2K14 Review

After rediscovering my enjoyment for professional wrestling only a mere two years ago, I jumped at the opportunity to review the latest instalment in the popular annualised WWE franchise: WWE 2K14. Taking the 2K sports moniker and boasting a large…

Skydive: Proximity Flight Review

Skydive: Proximity Flight is an interesting game, and one that admittedly took me by surprise. Not only did the game’s concept turn out to be more than I imagined, it was also able to pull off an incredibly well integrated…

Worms Revolution Extreme Review

For a series that has arguably undergone little change in its core mechanics or gameplay over the years, it’s quite frankly outstanding that the Worms franchise has been around since 1995. Standing the test of time really goes to show…
