Unlike GTA 5 for previous generations of Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, where codes were entered directly in the game, in the PC, Xbox One and PS4 versions, it became possible to enter codes from the phone. Remember that using cheat codes will disable achievements, so do not save the game.
Activating cheat codes GTA 5
You simply will not find a more convenient way to enter GTA 5 cheat codes on the PC version than using the “cheat console”. To invoke the “console”, you just need to press the ~ key, which is located below the Escape key.
After you enter the code, just press “Enter” (Enter). Moreover, it does not matter in which of the registers the input is made. If you want to enter the code through the phone, then press the “Up” (Up) and pull out in this way the phone. Then go to “Contacts” and press the spacebar. You will see a menu for entering numbers – just type in your code there. It is very important that the location matches the chosen code. No helicopters or cars will appear in the room. Naturally, codes function exclusively in GTA V single mode. GTA Online does not support them.
Attention! In case of activation of codes in GTA 5, all achievements of your game session are disabled. Just load your previously saved game and keep conquering achievements.
