New Update: It’s Not A Rock!
Greetings fellow intrepid explorers! We’re excited to announce that more adventure and wonder awaits in the depths of Don’t Starve’s caves. Due to some server hounds ravaging things over at Google’s App Engine servers, we’re a bit later than normal sending this update. But fear not! They seem to have tamed any unruly beasts in their system and the newest update is now available on Steam, Chrome and our stand alone client for all to enjoy.
We’ve also made some new changes that are sure to tantalize our modding community. Did you know Don’t Starve has a vibrant mod community? Now you do! If you haven’t already, check out this fantastic post that categorizes some of the best Don’t Starve mods. With this latest release, you can expect even more!

- Peaceful rock lobster herds roam the gloomy depths.
- Bunnymen turn into beardlords when your sanity is low.

- The invasive Lureplant will taunt you with its delicious veggiemeat.

- Ferns! You can burn ’em!
- More colourful mushtree varieties.
- Stalagmites come in more varied shapes.
- The vampiric BatBat.
- The marginally useful Compass.
- Gaze into the abyss in the caves!

- Cave layouts are… caveier.

New Soundtrack Song!
We’ve added a new song to the official Don’t Starve soundtrack. If you’ve already picked up a copy, you can download the additional track!
What’s in the soundtrack you ask?
Original instrumental music composed and arranged by Vince de Vera and Jason Garner, this soundtrack DLC has 10 tracks of game music and more presented in magnificent high-quality FLAC and MP3 formats. If you pick up a copy you’ll get new tracks as they are released in the game!
