It’s time to begin your treacherous journey across these sun-scorched plains – Forged in the Barrens, Hearthstone’s latest expansion which introduces 135 new cards, will launch on 30 March! Card reveal season for Forged in the Barrens is officially kicking off today.
Keep your eyes peeled for a flurry of reveals across a battalion of channels and outlets, with a final card reveal live stream with RegisKillbin, Community Manager Chris Sierra, and Game Designer Liv Breeden starting 22 March at 5 PM GMT over on Twitch and YouTube!
Theorycrafting Livestreams
Starting at 4:00 p.m. GMT on 23 March, Hearthstone creators will showcase the new set and their respective contest-wining decks on their personal streaming channels, using at least 10 Forged in the Barrens cards in each deck they play.
Fireside Gatherings
Private pre-release Fireside Gatherings will give everyone a chance to rip open their Forged in the Barrens card packs from the comfort and safety of their own homes before the expansion officially unlocks on 30 March. Private pre-release Fireside Gatherings will take place the weekend before Forged in the Barrens goes live, 26 March at 5 PM GMT – 29 March at 5 PM GMT.
In addition to opening your packs early, pre-release will also feature Fireside Brawls that will let you play with new cards!

In the Forged in the Barrens No Cards Barred! Brawl, you’ll be able to construct decks using the cards that you open during the Pre-Release event. There are no restrictions on class or duplicates, so go crazy!

We’ve also got A Recipe for Tenacity, a pre-constructed Brawl that will include new deck recipes from the upcoming set for you to play with. You won’t need to have pre-purchased packs to play this Brawl.
